The internationally renowned Ensemble Contrechamps visits the Klang concert series on May 27th. The Swiss ensemble, based in Geneva, has recently performanced at the Festival d’Automne in Paris, the Salzburg Festival, MaerzMusik in Berlin, the Lucerne Festival, the Venice Biennale, and the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.
Contrechamps is an ensemble of soloists specialised in the creation, development and dissemination of 20th and 21st century instrumental music for over 40 years. The ensemble often develops new formats, from installation-concerts and radiophonic projects to musical research laboratories.
On May 27th at Helsinki music centre Ensemble Contrechamps presents a cutting-edge program combining acoustic instruments, electronics and sound installation.
