Contrechamps is an ensemble of soloists specialised in the creation, development and dissemination of 20th and 21st century instrumental music for over 40 years. The ensemble often develops new formats, from installation-concerts and radiophonic projects to musical research laboratories.

On May 27th at Helsinki music centre Ensemble Contrechamps presents a cutting-edge program combining acoustic instruments, electronics and sound installation. The concert takes us through virtuosic concert music to realms of site-specific installation, with compositions from Joanna Bailie, Oscar Bianchi, Francisco Meirino and Frank Bedrossian.
